This year, 17 entities participated in our annual global cleanup initiative in support of the UN #WorldCleanupDay, setting a new record for participation. It was an opportunity for all employees to come together in a shared effort to give back to nature and demonstrate our commitment to environmental responsibility. We also took a new step this year by collecting data on the trash gathered for local Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). By doing so, we are not only creating cleaner local environments, but also making a measurable global impact. With over 280 participants, including employees and their families, our collective contribution totalled around 1,200 kg of waste, demonstrating the impact of coming together for a great cause. The team and their family members hiked up Sugarloaf Mountain carrying native Atlantic Forest seedlings, which they planted as part of the restoration effort. 🌱⛰️ The entity sponsored both the seedlings and the team of experts who guided them throughout the activity, offering valuable insights into the local ecosystem, biodiversity, and proper planting techniques.
