Responsible Business Conduct

Effective July 1st, 2022, larger enterprises in Norway must comply with the Transparency Act, to ensure fundamental human rights and decent working conditions for employees throughout the supply chain.

Our approach

Axess Group conducts its business in line with the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

Reporting on our due diligence process is based on OECD’s guidance for due diligence assessments, covering human rights issues, decent working conditions, workplace health and safety, environmental issues as well as risks for bribery and corruption.

Our supply chain

We expect all suppliers and subcontractors to conduct business according to the same standards of business ethics that we do, and we expect all suppliers to commit to our governing documents, including the Code of Conduct, HSEQ Policy, Human Rights Policy, and Modern Slavery Statement

In 2022, we introduced a Supplier Commitment Scheme to be agreed and signed by our suppliers. We will continue to advise and actively monitor our suppliers through regular supplier audits.

All suppliers are able to report any potential misconduct through our Whistleblowing channel.
