Raghvendra joined Axess in 2022. He enjoys trekking, mountain climbing and rappelling in his free time.
As an NDT Level 3 for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region, part of my job involves using my technical skills to gather and evaluate data, before breaking down the information to make it easier to understand and presenting it to the management team. This is meaningful as I help to lay the groundwork for improvements in the company.
Aside from that, I supervise NDT inspections, complete the necessary paperwork for clients and provide technical advice to my colleagues whenever needed.
Since my role is for a region and not just a single country, I get to work closely with colleagues from other countries, which has been really fun and fulfilling as I get to learn about different cultures.
What have you learned since joining the company?
I learned to constantly challenge myself and take on more responsibilities, in order to develop new skills and bring more value to the company. Here, there is no lack of development opportunities. Since joining Axess, I have gained a lot of offshore experience.
Axess has a results-oriented culture, which encourages me to continue challenging myself. My colleagues are supportive and we work closely together. Engaging with other cultures improves my ability to understand and value other perspectives, and allows me to learn new things.
