While skiing to a mountain top at Fursetjellet, conditions went from seemingly perfect to extremely low visibility. As he approached the summit, it became almost impossible to see anything. 🎿⛷️   “A whiteout does not happen often, but when it does, it is best to turn back and follow your tracks. Congrats to @sophieoksche and her team for their victory in the student rowing championships held in Bergen! 🚣‍♀️🙌 Sophie represented NTNU Trondheim's rowing club in the largest student rowing competition in #Norway, triumphing over 14 other women teams across Norway to clinch the gold medal in the eights category, the largest boat class in rowing. "The women eight of NTNU is currently on a winning streak of 17 consecutive years. I am happy to defend the title. After rowing for some years in the German National Team, the university rowing club in Trondheim was my first point of contact after moving to Norway a year ago. It has been an incredible journey for @alexblakey1983, from overcoming a hip operation for a condition that kept him out of sports since age 11, to completing a 10 km race to raise funds for the @redskyfoundation. 🏃‍♂️💪 Since his recovery, Alex has been running with his colleagues in the #UK, who have supported him throughout his training. For Alex, the Sunderland City 10K was both a personal milestone and a chance to support a cause close to his heart. The Foundation raises funds to help people with heart conditions, including providing defibrillators to local communities. Having performed CPR on a family member in 2021, he knows firsthand the importance of defibrillators in saving lives. Now, Alex is gearing up for his first half marathon in September, continuing to run in support of Red Sky. #axessgroup #axesslife

Despite battling heat and nausea, giving up was never an option for her. She persevered and crossed the finish line.
