The COVID-19 virus has affected many businesses, including Axess Group. While its impact is beyond anyone’s control, we are taking all the necessary measures needed to manage our business operations in the safest manner.
The safety and welfare of our employees, clients, and contractors remain our absolute highest priority as we activate our business continuity plans.
Here are the actions we have taken to ensure the health and safety of our global workforce and contribute to the global efforts in containing and slowing the pandemic:
1. Ensured full compliance with the government and health authorities
We closely monitor the World Health Organization (WHO)’s updates and strictly follow the directives of our local and national public health guidelines.
2. Rolled out travel restrictions policy
All business trips are restricted and personal travels are discouraged for the time being. Any employee who has recently traveled by plane or has been offshore will work remotely for 14 days.
3. Implemented alternative work arrangements
Employees worldwide are encouraged to work from home where feasible or given flexible working hours to prevent workplace transmission.
4. Maintained excellent communication with clients and staff
Prevention control measures are continuously communicated with employees, such as, practicing personal hygiene, social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings. Meanwhile, proactive correspondence with our clients, either by phone calls, emails, and video conferencing, is of the utmost importance to avoid any potential disruption to their business.
5. Donated personal protective equipment to hospitals
With a significant shortage of necessary protective gear, our office in Molde, Norway, has donated their own dust mask supply to their local health system, to support the government’s efforts in combatting the virus.
In these unprecedented times, we are working hard to provide uninterrupted service to our customers while prioritising the safety and well-being of our workforce.
We are fully committed to assisting the legislative and health officials in preventing the spread of the pandemic and will continue to update our actions to help curb this global crisis.
