Axess Group has entered a significant frame agreement with Sporveien AS to provide inspection services for the railway and tram tracks operated by them in Norway.

The four-year contract will see Axess conduct inspection planning, NDT and condition reporting on infrastructures related to subways and trams. Axess’ QC department will manage the project by utilising multi-skilled engineering teams in Oslo and streamlining the services with digital solutions.

State-owned company Sporveien AS is Norway’s largest public transport operator. It is responsible for the trackage and maintenance of the metro and tramway system of Oslo, as well as city buses in several regions, with 275 million single trips completed in 2018.
