As part of our Local Content Development Plan and commitment, Axess Petrorig Ghana have recently fully engaged a Ghanaian Inspection Engineer as a key member of our Risk Based Inspection (RBI) team for RBI campaigns offshore Ghana and abroad. We are currently ahead of schedule to localise our RBI team for campaigns offshore Ghana.

Axess plans to send our Ghanaian Engineer to our headquarters in Norway for further skills development with the international RBI engineering team. This move will actualise Axess’ strategic objective to employ Ghanaians as Lead RBI Engineers for follow up surveys, both in Ghana and in Axess Group’s international projects.

Currently with 50% Ghanaian participation on our RBI project, Axess remains committed to investing in our Ghanaian staff and giving more opportunities to Ghanaians to develop their skills and knowledge, in order to fast track localisation of advanced inspection and RBI Engineering.
