Axess Group awarded Lifting and Material EoC Contract

Axess Group has signed a long-term contract with Vår Energi to provide Lifting and Material Handling EoC Control for all its assets in the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

Under the terms of the agreement, Axess will provide Enterprise of Competence (EoC) activities, control of lifting and rigging plans, maintenance activities related to cranes and lifting equipment, supply of lifting equipment and spare parts. The contract is valid for all of Vår Energi’s business, including Goliat, Ringhorne, Balder and Jotun fields offshore Norway.

Vår Energi AS is a new leading, independent E&P company on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) and the result of the merger of Point Resources AS and Eni Norge AS in late 2018. Vår Energi is jointly owned by Italy based energy company Eni (69.6 percent) and Norway based leading private equity investor HitecVision (30.4 percent).
