Axess Ghana has been awarded a Quality Control (QC) services contract by one of the leading independent oil exploration and production company in Ghana.
The six months contract, which came into effect December 2017, will involve the provision of QC inspection services across all of the client’s third-party equipment which will be utilised during a planned shutdown. This will ensure equipment integrity and operational functionality to maximise production uptime and ultimately save costs.
Personnel from multiple Axess entities worldwide and highly skilled local resources will be mobilised during the agreement. This is the first QC inspection contract secured by Axess Ghana, a testament to our diverse capability and expertise in the offshore oil and gas industry.
The securing of this new scope of work allows Axess Ghana to continue building competence and upskilling of national personnel within the region. This forms a strategic part of the Group’s business model when establishing new entities.
Axess Ghana’s Country Manager, Alex Owen, said: “This is a significant milestone for our entity as it demonstrates the Groups’ diverse service offerings. Expanding our client base is of utmost importance to ensure the long-term sustainability of our business in the region.”
