Awarded in January 2017, this long-term exclusive contract aims to maximize the efficiency of the client’s procedures globally, reduce operational expenditures and digitalize deliveries.

The contract scope includes periodic crane, drilling and lifting gear inspection, project management, various non-destructive testing (NDT) requirements, cost and scope optimization, and overall asset integrity management. This 2018, additional mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines were added to the work scope, which reaffirms the strength of our solutions and effective global team collaboration.

Jostein Tverdal, Axess North America’s Vice President, said: “Our goal going into this contract is to prove that the Axess Group can be a partner in reducing the cost of ownership for our clients, as well as to create additional value by utilizing our very qualified workforce and the solutions we have for data capture and analysis. I see the additional added scope categories as an acknowledgment to our continuous effort to become a trusted partner.”

“The Axess Group is becoming a recognized as a valuable partner, not only by the clients we have today but also by other major drilling companies that are showing a growing interest in the same type of contract. We aim to utilize this interest to enter into more global partnerships in the coming years,” Tverdal added.
