What attracted you to join and remain at Axess?

I joined Axess in 2018, drawn by the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing company. Starting in a dual role across personnel logistics and Human Resources (HR) gave me insight into both operations and people functions.

After returning from maternity leave in 2022, I proudly stepped into the HR Team Lead role, which reflects the trust I have received here. What keeps me at Axess is the strong sense of belonging and company’s commitment to professional development.

Axess has supported me through key milestones, including earning my CIPD qualification while balancing work and motherhood. The flexibility and encouragement I have received have made it a place where I can thrive both personally and professionally.

How would you describe your role and what makes it meaningful to you?

As HR Team Lead, my role evolves alongside the business. I manage daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management, while acting as a trusted point of contact for employees. I also help shape HR policies and lead learning initiatives.

Helping people through key career moments, such as onboarding, development, and promotions is incredibly rewarding. It is fulfilling to see how much the team has grown in size, confidence, and culture. The everyday moments, whether guiding someone through a challenge or celebrating a success, are what make the role truly meaningful.

The flexibility and encouragement I have received have made it a place where I can thrive both personally and professionally.

What do you like about the culture at Axess?

Axess is genuinely flexible and family-friendly. Work-life balance is not just encouraged; it is built into the way we operate. As a parent, that has been invaluable.

There is also a strong sense of teamwork. People are collaborative and always willing to help. The inclusive and supportive culture makes Axess a motivating place where everyone supports each other’s success.
