MOLDE, Norway, May 5, 2026 – Axess Group has successfully supported Wison New Energies in the preparation and deployment of the Nguya FLNG to the Republic of the Congo.
Following arrival in the Republic of the Congo, Axess provided specialist support across several critical workstreams. This included project management and hook-up engineering, with a strong focus on developing detailed procedures. Offshore hook-up installation services were delivered by multi-skilled personnel onboard the FLNG during the connection of two tether chains and the riser system. The scope also encompassed pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, onshore and offshore support for SSY MagnaDense filling operations, and the safe dismantling and removal of the MLA platform.
This was preceded by support during the vessel’s transit from Singapore, where Axess executed DROPS inspections and provided ad-hoc assistance to ensure safe and uninterrupted passage.
“This project reinforces Axess’ proactive, solutions-driven approach to supporting our partners. It demonstrates the depth of technical expertise we bring to complex offshore developments. It also underscores our ability to safely deliver high-risk, mission-critical scopes on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards, anywhere in the world,” Thomas Cloete, Project Development Director at Axess Group said.
