What does your role entail and what makes it meaningful to you?

Since joining Axess in October 2024, I have been leading regional HR strategy and operations, focusing on talent acquisition and retention, employee engagement, and inclusion. I also ensure compliance with regional labour laws and global HR standards, while supporting digital transformation through data‑driven HR practices.

What makes this journey truly meaningful is building a collaborative culture where we communicate well, learn from one another, and grow together across borders. Having joined Axess at the same time I moved to Qatar, I have experienced firsthand how deeply the company trusts and empowers its people. This has made my commitment to nurturing, supporting, and championing our regional talent incredibly personal and purpose-driven.

How is it like being part of a global team?

It is a truly global experience without boundaries. Reporting into Dubai and KSA while supporting teams across the Middle East and India gives me a unique vantage point. We work as one unit regardless of geography. The cultural insight I gain is the most rewarding aspect of the role. I learn something new from my colleagues every day, which demonstrates that diversity is our greatest strength.
