What are your key responsibilities, and how does being part of a global team impact your work?
I am responsible for overseeing all project executions, managing Axess Offshore Wind’s P&L and general ledger, and driving business development. In assuming this role, I have shifted my focus from oil and gas to renewables. It has been a rewarding challenge to understand the business models of the wind industry and explore synergies between the two sectors. Business development has become a key part of my role as I support the entity’s growth.
Being part of a global team has significantly supported my transition into the renewables sector. Collaborating with experienced professionals and subject matter experts from Europe and other regions has accelerated my learning and helped me adapt to new challenges.
What do you hope to achieve in the company?
Looking ahead, I hope to expand my career into a broader regional role, where I can support other entities with their operations and business development efforts in renewable energy.
What is the best thing about working at Axess?
I like to think of Axess as the smallest big company I have ever worked for. While we have the processes and global support functions of a large-scale organisation, the team environment remains personal, collaborative, and close-knit. This unique balance makes it a great place to work and grow.
