Our History

1998

Axess AS was founded by Børge Gjeldvik and Andreas Mørland in Molde, Norway.

2004-2007

Axess Offshore Services AS was established in Kristiansund, Norway. It later merged with Orkla Inspection Services to form Axess Orkla Inspection AS in Orkanger, Norway.

2009

We opened our first office outside of Norway, in Brazil.

2012-2014

We launched Bridge, a suite of software solutions, and opened offices in Houston, Singapore, Canada and South Africa.

2015-2017

Alpa AS was established to specialise in the design and modification of material handling equipment. We established offices in South Korea, Ghana and the UK.

2018

We expanded into the wind, marine and refinery industries, started a Climate Roadmap initiative to reduce GHG emissions, and opened an office in India.

2019-2021

We established offices in Australia, Mexico, UAE, KSA and Guyana, as well as subsidiaries, Axess Digital and Praxis.

2022-2023

We established offices in Boston, Taiwan and Senegal, as well as subsidiaries, Axess Technologies and Axess Industries.

2024

Today, we have grown into an international company with over 700 employees in 22 countries worldwide.
