MOLDE, Norway, March 4, 2025 – Axess Group has won a long-term frame agreement with OSM Thome, a global maritime services company.
The agreement, built around Axess’ Total Rig Integrity Management (TRIM) solution designed to maximise value and uptime, covers work for Equinor’s FSU Heidrun B, operated by OSM Thome in Norway.
Specifically, the agreement covers potential services such as Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programme for pressurised systems, PRV and PSV inspections, dropped object management, electrical and thermographic inspections, structural integrity management and inspections of crane and lifting gear. By consolidating tasks and using multi-skilled teams, Axess reduces the frequency of mobilisations, and the number of personnel mobilised each time.
Rune Jacobsen, Sales Director – AIM at Axess Group, said, “We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with OSM Thome in the maritime industry. This partnership marks an exciting step forward as we bring our expertise to ensure safety and operational efficiency. We look forward to a productive and successful relationship, working closely with OSM Thome to deliver high-quality services and technical support in the months and years to come.”
OSM Thome is the result of a joint merger of two industry giants, OSM Maritime and Thome Group, in 2023, providing ship management, crew management and other marine services.
