Axess Group gears up to meet offshore wind demands with a new office in Taipei

MOLDE, Norway, September 27, 2022 – Axess Group has announced the opening of a new office in Taipei, to focus on the booming offshore wind market in the region. To date, Axess operates in 17 countries worldwide.

The entity will offer a broad range of integrity and engineering services to clients in offshore wind, across all phases – FEED, Construction, Commissioning & Installation and Operations & Maintenance. The services include Cable Pull-In and Termination & Testing, integrated Balance of Plant (BoP) services and offshore substation compliance studies.

Rod Matzdorff, Regional Manager for East Asia, will add the Taipei office to his existing regional portfolio including South Korea.

We see this as an opportunity to play an even larger role in the renewable energy transition and grow our presence in this market of the future,” Rod said.

As a Group, we have set the goal of ensuring 20% of our global revenues come from renewables by 2024, this new office is a step in the right direction to achieve this and one we are looking to capitalise on.”
