Axess Group wins contract extension with an international offshore drilling contractor

Axess Group is pleased to announce the continuation of its long-standing cooperation with a global offshore drilling company’s semi-submersible rigs operating in the North Sea. This contract extension has been fixed until 2020 and may possibly span through 2023.

The drilling contractor has commissioned Axess Group to deliver Total Rig Integrity Management (TRIM) solution, which involves a comprehensive planning and implementation of class-related DROPS Inspection, Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), hull and structural inspections, asset integrity management deliveries, Enterprise of Competence (EoC) and other mechanical engineering services.

Over the years, Axess Group has been providing tailored business consultancy, close project cooperation and excellent offshore engineering deliveries to the client, yielding competitive advantages over traditional suppliers. Following a series of substantial business wins for Axess, this partnership will see the Group’s commitment to sustaining its competitive edge in inspection and integrity management within the offshore industry.

Axess Group’s CEO, Børge Gjeldvik, said: “Providing optimal solution to one of the world’s leading offshore drilling contractors is a confirmation of our strong foothold in the North Sea. Despite the tough market situation, we are committed to provide cost-effective, reliable and highly efficient integrity solutions to our clients.”
