MOLDE, Norway, May 20, 2025 – Axess Group has established a new office in Gdańsk, Poland, reinforcing its commitment to the growing wind energy sector across Europe.
This strategic expansion enhances Axess’ presence in key renewable energy markets and aligns with Poland’s wind energy targets, which include 19 GW of onshore wind and 6 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030. The Gdańsk entity will serve as a hub for engaging with Polish clients, supporting the Group’s renewable energy ambitions both in Europe and globally.
“Our ambition is to establish a sustainable and self-sufficient organisation in Poland that supports the local wind industry and advances Axess Group’s renewables strategy across the European Union. We are focused on building a competent, qualified team to deliver safety inspections, statutory inspections, and maintenance services for both onshore and offshore operations. Additionally, the entity will carry out high-voltage cable pull-in, termination, and testing during the construction phase of floating and bottom-fixed offshore wind projects,” Knut Stefanussen, Chief Renewables Officer at Axess Group said.
Krzysztof Bychowski, Renewables Manager – Poland, will be developing the entity. Krzysztof holds a Master of Science in Marine Engineering and brings over 15 years of combined experience in the marine and wind industries.
