Axess Group opens new office in Mexico

Axess Group is thrilled to announce its expanding operations in North America, with the opening of a new entity in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. Headquartered in Molde, Norway, the opening of the new office brings the total number of Axess’ international entities to 13.

Axess Mexico will be spearheaded by Operations Manager, Chris Walker, who was previously responsible for projects management at the company’s Houston office.

The new location comes at a time when drilling activity in the US Gulf of Mexico is experiencing remarkable growth. This hub will enable Axess to broaden its asset integrity, engineering, and project management activities within the Latin American region.

Espen Thomassen, Managing Director at Axess North America and Mexico said: “We see great opportunities in Mexico for Axess and a need for our services and business models. Mexico is a fast-growing market with a large potential as several international E&P companies have committed to the market, giving opportunities to international companies like Axess”

Chris Walker, Operations Manager at Axess de Mexico, added: “Axess is excited to establish a new entity in Mexico, further demonstrating our commitment to our clients while training and developing local personnel who will further strengthen our abilities to support our client’s operations.”
