When I first spoke to the management team, I felt that I would get the support needed for the offshore wind business here to be successful. During my short few months here, I have had tremendous support from the Houston office and the renewables department in Norway.
Each day in this job is different, and I found this to be one of the most appealing aspects. For example, I have attended conferences, received my Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training certificate, visited a U.S. offshore wind farm, and had many client meetings over Teams and in person.
What do you hope to achieve in the company?
Currently, I am working to build relationships with developers, suppliers, and contractors. We aim to secure contracts with operators and service providers to deliver integrity management and engineering services to the emerging offshore wind market in the region.
I like the people and the collaborative mindset that the team has. Everyone works towards a common goal of achieving success for our customers and our company, and it is cool to be a part of such a team. There is such a range of expertise throughout the company, and I have found that all team members are eager to help and share knowledge.
