Axess Group introduces breakthrough dropped object compliance software
Axess Group has launched eDROPS, a new dropped object inspections and compliance software that eliminates the use of paper-based reporting and provides faster access to vital DROPS-related information to key stakeholders. Co-developed with a major drilling contractor, this new Axess BridgeTM module gives users full control over their DROPS inspection and reporting process.
Managing fleet-wide DROPS programs involve a large amount of periodic jobs globally, inspection programs, findings, and recommendations. With different processes in place, responding to a client’s data requests can be time-consuming and expensive.
With the release of eDROPS, operators alike will no longer need to rely on fragmented systems and spreadsheets to assess the dropped object risks and compliance status of their assets globally. The eDROPS dashboard allows users to intuitively find and access key information as it includes overview displays of inspections, findings, and compliance status. It also features the ability to drill further into historical data more quickly for better decision making.
Oyvind Hogset, Axess Group’s Service Manager Dropped Object Prevention, said: “eDROPS will significantly reduce the time spent for Axess and our Clients in managing inspections and data. This software will enable our organizations to focus more on preventing dynamic dropped objects and building safety culture.”
